Palmasola

Palmasola was created to be the ultimate beachfront retreat for friends, family and colleagues to relax while enjoying nature, fabulous activities, fine

dining and each other’s company. Palmasola provides an experience far beyond nearly all other beachfront rental properties in the world. It is a fully

staffed, single-client five star luxury retreat managed by Oliver Atkins, our professionally trained Hotel General Manager, where even the person who is

most prone to be the planner in your group will have the freedom to take a well deserved vacation. Our hope is that you will surrender to Palmasola and let

its staff take care of you, allowing you an escape from the cares of the world. We appreciate any information you might wish to share with us before or

during your stay, so that we can better succeed in exceeding your expectations.

In designing the property we attempted to embody the following underlying principles:

• Timeless architecture equally comfortable in the past, present or future

• Furniture derived from a culture of handmade items found along the Pacific Rim

• A village environment that balances shared common spaces with ample private spaces so that up to nine couples or four families are comfortably

accommodated for a week or longer.

Palmasola is located within Punta Mita, a 2,000-acre master development of DINE, Mexico’s pre-eminent luxury developer, and was targeted for an

international clientele. It is an incredibly beautiful, gate guarded peninsula, immersed in flora and fauna and home to two world class resorts under Four

Seasons and St. Regis flags and a collection of some of the nicest beach homes on the Pacific.

Punta Mita is a private project situated within Punta de Mita, the northern most point on the Bahia de Banderas. Ancient lore has it that the bay gained its

name, the Spanish equivalent of the Bay of Banners, when the Spanish Conquistadors were greeted by a massive army of natives carrying lances and flags.

In light of this highly visible opposition, they decided to pass up the very inviting bay and conquer less well-fortified and organized populations elsewhere

along the coast. As a result, the bay’s best known city, Puerto Vallarta, remained a small coastal fishing hamlet until it became famous under the patronage

of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton and was then chosen as the setting for Mr. Burton’s 1964 movie, the Night of the Iguana. Puerto Vallarta has

benefited from good urban planning. The result is that the town has developed a strong economy, a happy local population and a well-deserved reputation

as a beautiful international destination for those who love art, fine dining, and nature.
